Sarah Broecker is an accessory designer from Hamburg.
Her design language is characterised by clear forms with a preference for expressive colours. Her work is multidisciplinary and she draws inspiration from various design, art and craft disciplines, which she then incorporates into her own work. Analogue and digital form experiments form the basis of her designs.
During her bachelor’s degree in fashion design, she specialised in accessories. She further expanded this focus in her master’s degree and delved deeper into sustainable design and upcycling. At the same time, she founded her accessories label SARAH BROECKER, for which she designs and manufactures bags and small leather goods by hand as individual pieces or small series. This results in high-quality and repairable accessories made from used or upcycled leather.
